The results of a field trial will now be presented. Passive emissions from bubbles under breaking waves were detected at Milford on Sea by the base of Hurst Spit. individual bubble emissions were identified in the rsignal received at various hydrophones in an array, and correlation between hydrophone signals allowed identification of the times and locations of each emitting bubble.

The rig is show below before deployment. The large yellow cylinders hold the electronics and the arrays sit between and above them.
